The office placed this file before the National Lok Adalat held on 08.09.2018. The parties are willing to compromise the above FAFO Defective arising out of M.A.C. No. 244/2006.
The parties have agreed upon settlement on the following terms and conditions:-
(i) The appellant shall be entitled to get Rs.13440/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Forty only) alongwith interest out of the amount invested in Fixed Deposit as per interim order dated 18.03.2009 and balance amount invested in Fixed Deposit alongwith interest shall be paid to the claimant in full and final satisfaction of the claim.
(ii) The cross appeal, if any, filed by the claimant shall stand dismissed.
(iii) The parties have compromised out of their free consent and without any coercion/pressure of any kind.
The appeal is accordingly decided in terms of compromise arrived at between the parties. The compromise filed today shall form part of the judgement and award.
A copy of this order be sent to the Court concerned for necessary compliance.
