K.M. Joseph, J Sri. T.C. Govindaswamy takes notice for the respondent. 2. We heard the matter along with O.P(CAT). No.2943 of 2012, which is a similar matter in which we have rendered judgment today. We see no reason not to apply the same principle in this case as well and the Original Petition is to be allowed in so far as the Tribunal has directed payment of interest by the petitioner.
3. Accordingly, we allow the Original Petition and modify the order of the Tribunal by deleting the direction to pay interest. The amount, as due to the applicant, should be paid within one month from today.
