JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ
This writ appeal has been filed against the interim order dated 07/09/2011 issued by the learned Single Judge in W.P.C.No.24464 of 2011. Respondents 1 and 2 had filed the writ petition challenging the decision of the Government of India dated 26/08/2011 wherein it was decided not to grant permission to the institution for taking admission to BAMS course with 50 seats in the academic year 2011-2012. The interim order was granted by the learned Single Judge permitting the petitioner to admit 50 students on a provisional basis.
2. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that provisional admission was taken and those students are pursuing the respective course. The writ petition, being still pending and the provisional admission was taken in the year 2011-2012, we are of the view that at this stage no useful purpose will be served in considering the issue as raised in the writ appeal. Hence, we are of the view that the writ petition itself be decided by the learned Single Judge on an early date.
This writ appeal is disposed of with the observation that the appellant shall move for early disposal of the writ petition.
