Union Of India And Others vs Central Administrative Tribunal

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|27 April, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 70565 of 2013 Petitioner :- Union Of India And 3 Others Respondent :- Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad & Another Counsel for Petitioner :- R.B. Singhal,Dhirendra Kumar Dwivedi,Sanjay Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J. Hon'ble Bachchoo Lal,J.
1. Case called out. None appeared on behalf of petitioners. However, we ourselves have perused the record.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs :
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned judgment and order dated 17.1.2013 and review order dated 9.7.2013 ( annexure no. 1 and 1A to the writ petition ) passed by Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad Bench, Allahabad in Original Application 176/ 2009 ( Sri Ram Vs. Union of India and others)."
3. However, we ourselves have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for the petitioners is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
Order Date :- 27.4.2018/Gss
