J U D G M E N T
The appellant/respondent has preferred the above appeal against the award passed by the Commissioner for Workmen Compensation- II, (Deputy Deputy Commissioner of labour-II) Chennai, dated 20.03.2004 in W.C.No.178/2006.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing none appeared for the respondent.
3. Whileso, the counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that they have deposited the claim amount of Rs.2,44,600/- (Rupees Two lakhs forty four thousand and six hundred) by way of cheque bearing No.211926, dated 16.04.2007 drawn on Reserve Bank of India, Chennai. The respondent/ claimant has also received the deposited amount on 25.04.2007 vide reference number ICF/LOW.HC/431/2017.
4. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that nothing survives in this appeal.
5. Recording the submissions and the documents submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant the CMA is closed.
