Re : Civil Misc. Application No.20910 of 2020 This is an application seeking condonation of delay in depositing the decretal amount in puruance of the order dated 4.10.2018 and 30.3.2019. Heard Sri Amit Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Surendra Singh, learned counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court, a sum of Rs.8,48,316/-, after deducting the TDS as per rules, has been transferred through RTGS/NEFT in the bank account of Additional Registrar, Railways Claims Tribunal, Lucknow. He has submitted that since the delay in depositing the amount was not deliberate but has occurred due to procedural delay, the same be condoned. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection in case the delay in depositing the amount is condoned. Cause shown is sufficient. Application is allowed. The delay in depositing the amount is condoned. The amount deposited by the appellant before the Tribunal shall be treated to have been deposited in terms of the order dated 4.10.2010.
