Pursuant to the order dated 22.06.2012, Shri Hemandra Shah, Additional Secretary, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar as well as Shri C.J.Patel, Deputy Collector, Una are present.
After taking into account the submissions made by learned Additional Advocate General, certain directions were passed vide order dated 21.02.2012 in Special Civil Application No.5573 of 2011. Having regard to the submissions which were made by learned Additional Advocate General on previous occasion, which included the submission that the competent authority would take steps to convert the land into old tenure from new tenure and also take steps to alter the zoning of the land in question so that the sale of the land in question can be conveniently held and also for the reason that the sale of land may fetch reasonably good price as compared to the present status of land, the directions in the said order dated 21.02.2012 were passed.
Since then, any action with regard to the said two aspects have yet not been taken. Though the Liquidator has been appointed any further action to expedite the process of sale of land has not been commenced. Learned counsel appearing for O.L. has also submitted that even Liquidator has moved an application with a request that the necessary formalities may be expedited so as to enable him to proceed with the auction process. In this view of the matter and also considering the fact that almost four and half months have passed since the said order, it has become necessary to direct the authority to take steps to complete the process with regard to the aforesaid two aspects as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within 3 weeks, and to file action taken report on or before 27.07.2012. S.O. to 27.07.2012.
