Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
This writ petition was filed by the petitioner with the prayer to allow the petitioner to join his training / service on the post of constable. He was not being sent for training on the ground of some complaint made against him that he does not belongs to the backward community. Some criminal case was found to be pending against him wherein he was acquitted prior to the filing of this writ petition in the year 1988. By the interim order dated 12th August, 1999 petitioner was directed by this Court to be sent for training. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner after completing his training is working as Constable and has subsequently been promoted on the post of Sub-Inspector in the year 2013.
Since the petitioner has completed his training and has subsequently been promoted, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.
In view of the above, writ petition stands disposed of finally.
