JUDGMENT / ORDER

The limited prayer in this writ petition is for a speedy disposal of Ext.P3. 2. The petitioner who is the resident of Mattannur in Malappuram District, who worked as a Cook for 8 years in Kuwait alleges that he lost his job during the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq and left Kuwait on 30.08.1990. According to the petitioner, as per Ext.P1 letter, he was informed that he was sanctioned 2500 dollars as compensation which was granted by U.N. to the persons who lost their job during the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq.
3. The petitioner alleges that as per Ext.P2 he was directed to approach the 2nd respondent bank with certain documents. Accordingly, he submitted the entire documents as directed and he was told that the amount would be transferred to his account WP(C).27137/11 -:2:-
with the 3rd respondent. But, even after five years the amount was not disbursed. It is in this background the petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the 1st respondent to take immediate action on Ext.P3 within a time frame.
4. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to take action of Ext.P3 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
