JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. The present Special Criminal Application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioner for the following reliefs;
"(A) Your Lordships may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to investigate the matter thoroughly and properly and to find out the body of the daughter of the petitioner, named, Sumankunvar and after investigation, take proper action against the culprits and do all needful steps in the matter of investigation to find out the truth and real matter and truth and after investigation, submit the report to this Hon'ble Court within stipulated time;
(B) To grant to the petitioner any other relief that may be deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;
(C) Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the police authority to handover the inquiry to high rank police Officer, like DSP, or CID Crime or any other independent agency."
2. Today, when the present petition is taken up for hearing, Shri Brahmbhatt, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. Permission is granted. The present petition is dismissed as not pressed. Rule is discharged. Ad-interim relief granted earlier, if any, stands vacated forthwith.
