1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioners. However, we ourselves have perused the record.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 09.08.2016 passed by the District Inspector of School Jaunpur (Respondent No. 3). (Annexure No. 12 to the writ petition), by which the salary of the petitioners had been stopped and also the recovery against the respondent no. 2 and 3 had been initiated.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to interfere in peaceful working of the petitioners on their respective posts in the aforesaid institution and also make payment of salary as and when it comes dues."
3. However, we ourselves have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
