This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking the direction to the court below concerned to decide the Case Crime no. 788 of 2009, u/s 304, 325, 323, 504, 506, 427 IPC, P.S. Maharajganj, District Jaunpur pending as S.T. No. 69/2010 before the Additional District Judge/Fast Track Court- I, Jaunpur.
Heard applicants' counsel and learned A.G.A. for the State. Record has been perused.
It is submitted that the applicant is the first informant in the present case; the incident relates to the year 2009 and the charges have been framed on 17.4.2010. Till date some of the prosecution witnesses have been examined and on account of delaying and dilatory tactics of the case trial is not progressing.
In view of the fact that since the trial is pending from the year 2009, the court concerned is directed to expedite and conclude the proceeding of the aforesaid case preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of the certified copy of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, unless there is some legal impediment or unless there is any order passed by the higher court staying the proceedings of the case.
With the aforesaid observation this application is disposed off.
