Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) To issue order or direction in the nature mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3 and direct the respondent no. 3 Deputy Collector/Sub Divisional Magistrate Atrouli District Aligarh to decide the appeal 3088 of 2018 Smt. Shikha Sharma V/S Smt. Shushila Devi and others under section 207 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 which is pending in the court of the respondent no. 3 since 26.09.2018 till today (Annexure No. 5)."
It is stated that an appeal arising out of proceedings for mutation is pending consideration since the year 2018, being directed against a mutation order, passed in favour of the petitioner.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3/Deputy Collector/Sub Divisional Magistrate Atrouli District Aligarh to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
