Civil Misc. Amendment Application.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that Purvanchal Gramin Bank has been amalgamated in Purvanchal Bank, therefore, a prayer is made to delete the name of Purvanchal Gramin Bank and to substitute it by Purvanchal Bank.

Since the cause of action arose when the name of Bank was Purvanchal Gramin Bank, therefore, we feel that the deletion of the name of Purvanchal Gramin Bank from the array of the parties may not be appropriate. However, we allow the petitioner to implead Purvanchal Bank as the respondent.

The application is accordingly allowed.
