JUDGMENT / ORDER

----------------------- Petitioner approached the 1st respondent alleging that the industry being run by the 3rd respondent is causing air and environmental pollution. It is also submitted that the well water belonging to the petitioner was contaminated. Ext.P1 is the representation made by the 1st respondent.
2. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to conduct a site inspection in the premises of the 3rd respondent and find out whether pollution is being emanates on account of the operation of the wood based industry. If any pollution is found out, necessary action shall be taken to abate pollution or close down the industrial unit. However, final decision shall be taken in the matter after hearing the petitioner and the 3rd respondent. Needful shall be done within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
