Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
The present writ petition has been filed against the notice dated 14.5.2019 issued by the District Magistrate, Kasganj.
A reading of the notice dated 14.5.2019 shows that through the said notice, the petitioner has been asked to deposit the amount for which he had been previously noticed by an order dated 19.3.2019 issued by the District Panchayat Raj Officer and the concerned Block Development Officer and had also been noticed previously by the concerned Chief Development Officer through an order dated 24.3.2018.
The previous orders dated 19.3.2019 and 24.3.2018 have not been challenged in the present writ petition. The order dated 14.5.2019 is merely a reiteration and a reminder to the petitioner to deposit the amount as sought through the previous orders and the failure of the petitioner to deposit the amount may invite penal proceedings under the relevant provisions against the petitioner.
As the previous orders have not been challenged in the present writ petition, therefore, the writ petition challenging the notice dated 14.5.2019 is not maintainable and is, hereby, dismissed.
