Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; the learned A.G.A. for the respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 22.12.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 369 of 2018 at P.S. Kotwali Konch, District Jalaun, under Sections 364, 120-B I.P.C.
The allegation in the impugned first information report is that informant's son, who was married to the petitioner no.1, has been abducted by the petitioner no. 1 and her family members including petitioner no.2 and has been done to death.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has sought quashing of the first information report by stating that since there had been a previous dispute between husband and wife, false allegations have been levelled.
It has not been stated in the writ petition that the son of the informant has been found and that his statement has been recorded.
Once a person is missing and is stated to have been abducted, any interference in the investigation would be a hurdle for the investigation to arrive at the truth.
Under the circumstances, no interference is called for. The petition is dismissed.
