Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, call for the entire records leading to the detention of the petitioners mother Mrs.Amul W/o.Karunakaran has been detained under Act 14/1982 as a “Bootlegger” vide detention order in D.O.No.26/2016-C2 made by the 1st respondent in his order dated 28.07.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenue before this Hon'ble Court and thereafter set him at liberty.

Habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed by the second respondent against the detenue – Mrs.Amul W/o.Karunakaran in D.O.No.26/2016-C2 dated 28.07.2016.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the impugned order of detention has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4667, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 28.09.2016. Copy of the said Government Order, submitted to this Court, shall form part of the record.
3. Recording the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
