The appeal arises out of Land Acquisition Act Reference Case No. 250 of 1987 (Sher Singh and another Vs. Collector Agra and another) pertaining to acquisition of land in village Sikandra Bahishtabad, Agra vide notification dated 30.6.1979 issued under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act.
In respect to the said acquisition, several appeals have already been decided by this Court vide judgment and order dated 13.11.2014 and the award of the reference court has been upheld. Reference in this regard is First Appeal No. 187 of 2000 and connected appeals decided on 13.11.2014.
In view of the aforesaid decision, we are of the opinion that this appeal also deserves to be dismissed upholding the award of compensation @ Rs. 27/- per square yard along with statutory benefits as awarded by the reference court.
Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed in terms of the judgment and order dated 13.11.2014 referred to above.
