THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
O R D E R The petitioner in the present writ petition has sought for writ of mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the complaint dated 9.4.2018 given by the petitioner as per Annexure-A, raising various grounds.
2. Sri Vijayakumar A. Patil, learned AGA has filed memo along with the FIR, today in the open Court. The same are placed on record.
3. In the memo, it is specifically stated that the petitioner has given the representation dated 9.4.2018 to the 2nd respondent and the same was forwarded to the CCB Police for enquiry. The CCB Police have orally informed the petitioner to lodge the complaint with the jurisdictional Police. Accordingly, the petitioner filed complaint before the Rajajinagar Police Station. On receipt of the complaint, the jurisdictional Police registered the case in Crime No.255/2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 448, 323, 504, 506, 120, 120B and Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and started investigation.
4. In view of the above, the prayer sought does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, the writ petition is *disposed of as having become infructuous.
This Court hopes and trusts that the jurisdictional Police will act in accordance with law expeditiously.
