Heard Sri Anand Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Mata Prasad, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
By means of the present petition a direction is sought with regard to payment of the death-cum-retiral dues to the petitioners who claim to be dependents of a deceased-State Government employee. A direction is also sought for consideration of the claim for compassionate appointment.
Counsel for the petitioner has stated that orders have been passed sanctioning the certain amounts towards the retiral dues but final payment has yet not been made and in this regard a detailed representation dated 19.12.2018 has been filed before the Respondent No.4 which is stated to be pending.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents has fairly submitted that the claim of the petitioners with regard to the death-cum-post retiral dues and other benefits would be processed at the earliest and the representation made in this regard would also be considered by the authority concerned.
Having regard to the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No.4 to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioner no.1 with regard to the claim in respect of death-cum-retiral dues and also the claim for compassionate appointment within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
