1. Heard Sri Parvez Iqbal Ansari, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for respondent No.s 1 to 4.
2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that auction notice for fishing pond of gata No.69, 71 area 0.705 and 0.247 situated at village Nava Nagar, Tehsil Sikandarpur, Ballia was conducted on 10.8.2021. The petitioner along with others participated in the said auction on 10.8.2021 and his bid was determined to be the highest for the said auction and on 11.8.2021 petitioner deposited the entire bid amount of Rs.1,20,000/- but till date the approval of the bid has not been made.
3. Learned Standing counsel on the basis of instructions has submitted that in the meanwhile some objections have been received from certain villagers which are being inquired into and consequently the bid of the petitioner has not been approved.
4. Considering the fact that the auction took place on 10.8.2021 wherein the petitioner participated and his bid being highest was accepted and has deposited the bid amount also, therefore, it was incumbent upon the concerned authorities to expedite the matter and deal with the objection and also decide the matter pertaining to approval and execution of lease deed in favour of the petitioner.

In view of the above facts, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Up Zila Adhikari/S.D.M., Tehsil Sikandarpur District Ballia to decide the objection as well as the issue of approval of the petitioner's’ lease deed expeditiously say within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties by reasoned and speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
