The only grievance expressed by the petitioner is that some of the certificates ought to have been taken into consideration for awarding the marks, but it has been omitted to be considered for the reasons best known to the Tamilnadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, therefore the petitioner came forward to file this Review Petition.
2. Facts leading to the filings of this Review Petition have been narrated in detail and in extenso in Paragraph No.4 of the impugned Judgment.
3. This court in paragraph No.52 has precisely considered the said representation and found that this court is not an expert body to analyze and reconsider the norms to award special marks for extra-curricular activities and though expressed sympathy, was disinclined to grant relief on account of the reasons assigned in Paragraph No.52.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a valiant attempt to convince the Court to entertain this Review Petition. It is also a well settled position of law that review is not an appeal in disguise. Review applicant, under the guise of this review application, want to re-agitate the matter once again and the same is impermissible in law.
5. In the considered opinion of the court, there is no error apparent on the face of the record to exercise the power of review and finds no merit in this review application. Therefore the Review Petition is dismissed in the admission stage itself.
