JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P5 proceedings of the 2nd respondent by which, an application for the issue of a No Objection Certificate to conduct a dealership in sand has been rejected. The contention of the petitioner is that, the reason stated in Ext.P5 is not tenable.
2. I notice that the petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of appeal provided by Section 276 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994. In view of the equally efficacious alternative remedy available against Ext.P5, I am not inclined to admit this writ petition.
This writ petition is therefore, dismissed relegating the petitioner to the statutory remedy available to him.
