The writ petition filed by the appellant herein seeking for various reliefs, including granting of a photocopy of the valued answer sheet, came to be finalized as per judgment dated 07.06.2012 in W.P.(C) No.37734 of 2010, whereby only limited extent of relief was granted permitting the writ petitioner to peruse the answer sheets. Aggrieved by the said direction, the petitioner has filed the present writ appeal seeking for granting the entire reliefs as sought for.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the UPSC, who was the respondent, had filed Writ Appeal No.1403 of 2012 wherein interference was declined and the appeal was dismissed. Being aggrieved of the said verdict, the matter has W.A.No.1847 of 2012 2 been taken up before the Apex Court by filing S.L.P(C).No.33761 of 2012 and after hearing, the matter has been admitted granting interim order of stay; a copy of which has been produced as Ext.R1(a) along with the counter affidavit filed by the UPSC.
3. In view of the turn of events, the learned counsel for the appellant submits that, the appeal is not pressed any further, since the matter is now pending consideration before the Apex Court.
In view of the submission as above, the writ appeal is dismissed as not pressed.
