JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records in C.C. No.5324 of 2007 now pending on the file of the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and quash the same.
Today, both the parties are present with their respective counsel.
2. Pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioners and the second respondent/ defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and accordingly, they have entered into a compromise and filed an affidavit dated 24.07.2017 and also they have produced the receipt copy of the Fixed Deposit of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) and birth certificate of the minor. 3. In order to identify themselves, the petitioners 2,3 and 4 and the defacto complainant /second respondent have submitted the photo copies of their Aadhar Cards viz., 1.G. Rangachari  911334039584; 2. Radha - 699310953090; 3.T.R.Venkatesan - 288940738293 4. P.R.Vasupradha - 450517893784 and after verification of the original cards, the same are recorded.
4. Today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and also have been identified. An affidavit of the second respondent/defacto complainant dated 24.07.2017 is also filed to the effect that she has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.5324 of 2007 on the file of the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.
5. Recording the same, the proceedings in C.C. No.5324 of 2007 on the file of the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. There shall be a further direction to ensure that the deposit is extended till 01.09.2025, on which date, the minor T.P.Sriram attains majority.
6. The Affidavit dated 24.07.2017 between the petitioners and the second respondent/defacto complainant shall form part of the order.
