JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:
“a) direction to the respondent 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 8 by considering the exhibits 1 to 4 within a stipulated period for prohibiting the entry of heavy trucks on the above mentioned panchayat road which caused huge damage to the road as well as the boundary wall and the residential buildings of the petitioners by issue of writ of mandamus or such other or order or direction;
b) grant such relief as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.”
2. When the matter came up for consideration on 25.07.2014, notice on admission was ordered to respondents 4 to 8 by Speed Post. No process charge was remitted. When the matter was listed before this Court on 14.10.2014, the following order was passed.
“ Though notice was ordered in this case on 25.07.2014 notice has not been issued for the reason that no process has been paid by the Counsel for the petitioners. There is also no W.P.(C)No.19288 OF 2014 2 representation for the petitioners. The petitioners are directed to pay process within two days. If process is paid, issue notice as already ordered. If process is not paid, post after two days.”
3. Today also, the position remains to be the same and no process fee has been remitted by the petitioners. There is no representation for the petitioners as well. It appears that the petitioners have lost interest in the cause of action.
The writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
