Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:-
"(A) Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus Commanding/Directing the competent authority inquire into the matter of the petitioner within specific period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
(B) Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus/Commanding/Directing respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner on 15.12.2017 and 8.6.2018, 2.1.2019 which is pending before them."
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioners were recorded under Class 3. In proceedings under Section 33/39, entries were ordered to be expunged on the ground that the asami lease granted in favour of the petitioners' predecessor-in- interest stood determined by efflux of time long back. The orders passed in this regard are not under challenge in the writ petition.
The order aforesaid, therefore, having attained finality, the reliefs prayed for in the writ petition cannot be granted because even in the writ petition, the orders expunging the name of the petitioners are not impugned.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
