This writ petition has been filed for issue of mandamus directing the Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur (respondent-2) and S.H.O., P.S. Mugra Badshahpur, district Jaunpur (respondent-3) to ensure fair and impartial investigation in Case Crime No. 198 of 2018, u/s 302 I.P.C., P.S. Mugra Badshahpur, district Jaunpur and arrest the accused and submit the police report u/s 173(2) Cr.P.C. in it, as early as possible.
It is stated that F.I.R. was lodged on 13.7.2018, but police is not proceeding in the matter.
In the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur (respondent-2) and S.H.O., P.S. Mugra Badshahpur, district Jaunpur (respondent-3) to ensure fair and impartial investigation in Case Crime No. 198 of 2018, u/s 302 I.P.C., P.S. Mugra Badshahpur, district Jaunpur and submission of police report u/s 173(2) Cr.P.C. in it, if possible, within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
