The present applicant - convict prisoner is convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 307 etc. of the IPC and he was been sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for five years with fine. The present applicant has been in jail since more than three years. In 2008, when the applicant - convict prisoner was released, he did not surrender in time and, thereafter, arrested by the police in year 2010 and surrendered late by 449 days and considering the said fact, his parole application has been rightly rejected by the jail authorities. Therefore, the present application is rejected.
