JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Petitioner is the first accused in C.C No.102/2010 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate Court - I, Palakkad. He is charged with offences punishable under Sections 417, 418 and 420 I.PC.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
3. Learned counsel for the first accused/petitioner submitted that as directed by this Court, the parties mediated this matter and settled the disputes. A memorandum of settlement is filed before this Court, which forms part of the record. It is seen that their property as well as monitory disputes have been settled by making adjustments. Considering the fact that the matter has been completely settled, I find no purpose in prosecuting the petitioner for the aforementioned offences. Therefore, the prayer in the petition is allowed.
Crl.M.C No.2672 of 2010 2 In the result, Annexure A complaint and all proceedings in C.C No.102/2010 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court - I, Palakkad, as against the petitioner is hereby quashed.
All pending interlocutory applications will stand dismissed.
