The learned Senior Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel for the respondent board submit that the matter has become infructuous as the relief sought for in this Writ Petition was for a direction to the respondents to issue a temporary permit under Section 104 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
3. The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2007. It appears from records that purpose sought to be achieved by filing this Writ Petition might have been served by this time.
Therefore, the Writ petition is closed without going into the merits.
