Thottathil B.Radhakrishnan, J.
We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner in this original petition filed invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to expedite final disposal of a Rent Control Appeal. We think that, it is in the best interest of the petitioner that we dissuade ourselves from stating anything on the sequence of events that has gone through until now, in the Rent Control Petition and the Rent Control Appeal. More importantly, we do not see that there is any inordinate delay at the hands of the Appellate Authority which should gain attention in supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. It is for the Appellate Authority to arrange its work, list cases to its accommodation possible and give priority in matters which require priority. This original O.P(R.C).No.129/14 2 petition is hence dismissed without prejudice to the petitioner herein to move the Appellate Authority for any indulgence for the early hearing of the appeal.
