The petitioner is aggrieved with the rejection of the curtailment sought for in the route, Aluva-Chottanikkara. The petitioner is at present operating on the route Chottanikkara- Aluva through the City, passing through M.G Road. The petitioner sought for a curtailment insofar as the 2nd trip to be operated through the Byepass, without entering into the city. The same was declined by Ext.P1. The petitioner has produced the report of the Enquiry Officer by Ext.P2. In fact, the effect of variation, at item No.14, clearly indicated that the deviation through the byepass would help the travelling public in that area as also reduce the traffic within the city. In such circumstance, the RTA shall re-consider the application, in accordance with law, taking note of Ext.P2. Writ petition disposed of.
