The petitioner, holder of a regular permit to operate services on the route Cherumkuzhy - Medical College has submitted Ext.P2 application for the renewal of his permit, within the statutory period. He has also submitted an application for replacement of his vehicle with a later model one. He complains that no orders have been passed on his applications till date. The learned Government Pleader assures that his applications Exts.P2 and P3 would be considered.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the respondent to consider Exts.P2 and P3 applications in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
