The petitioners are the accused in Crime No. 1014/2014 on the file of the Piravom Police Station. The offences under sections 406, 420, 294(b) read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code are alleged. It is stated that the dispute with the first respondent has since been settled. Annexure III agreement and Annexure IV affidavit are relied on for this purpose.
No purpose would be served in prosecuting the case further and the proceedings can be nipped in the bud. Hence all further proceedings in Crime No. 1014/2014 on the file of the Piravom Police Station are hereby quashed.
The criminal miscellaneous case is allowed.
