Antony Dominic, J.
The petitioner, who was a candidate for the post of Branch Manager in the fourth respondent Bank, filed the writ petition challenging Public Service Commission's order rejecting her candidature. The writ petition having been dismissed, this appeal is filed.
2. We heard the counsel for the appellant, learned Government Pleader, learned Standing Counsel for the Public Service Commission appearing for respondents 2 and 3 and also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent bank.
3. As per the notification, one of the eligibility criteria prescribed is that the candidate should be a graduate with not less than 50% mark in aggregate. The petitioner does not satisfy this requirement. It was therefore, that the Public Service Commission has rejected her candidature. Evidently, therefore reason for her W.A.No.1392 OF 2014 : 2 :
rejection of candidature is that she did not satisfy the specifications of the notification. In such a situation, the Public Service Commission cannot be faulted for the order they have passed nor the learned Single Judge be faulted for the view taken.
Appeal fails and is dismissed accordingly.
