JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner approached this Court challenging Ext.P1 notification issued by the Assistant Commissioner for appointment to the post of hereditary trustee of the Malabar Devaswom Board. The petitioner raised a claim for appointment and he preferred Ext.P3 revision petition along with Ext.P4 stay petition before the second respondent. The petitioner's case is that there are no vacancies and an attempt is being made to appoint non-hereditary trustee in the post of hereditary trustee. Therefore, the petitioner approached the second respondent by Ext.P3 revision petition and Ext.P4 stay petition.
In view of Exts.P3 and P4, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to take a decision in the matter after W.P.(C) No.26549 of 2014 2 affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Till then, no appointment shall be made pursuant to Ext.P1.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
