JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the defective patta in computer records in respect of Patta No.599, Survey No.134/6 extent 1.21.5 at Mangulam Village, Village No.76, Mangulam Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District and to restore the original status of entries in the name of the petitioner, based on the representation dated 30.11.2015.
2. Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the abovesaid representation submitted by the petitioner to rectify the defective patta in computer records in respect of Patta No.599, Survey No.134/6 extent 1.21.5 at Mangulam Village, Village No.76, Mangulam Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District and to restore the original status of entries in the name of the petitioner, has not been considered so far.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2015 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also by hearing other rival parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
