JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court aggrieved by Ext.P1 notice issued by the second respondent, in which the petitioner has been directed to remove encroachment in the Government land. The petitioner submits that Ext.P1 notice was issued without giving an opportunity of raising his objection. As seen from Ext.P1 itself, it was issued pursuant to the direction in Writ Petition (Civil) No.318/2002 of the Apex Court. If the petitioner has any objection, he shall raise it before the second respondent within ten days from today. Thereafter, the second respondent shall take appropriate decision, after hearing the petitioner, within a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of objection. Till the final decision is taken in the matter, all coercive steps pursuant to Ext.P1 shall be kept in abeyance. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
