The petitioner is the owner of an item of property within the 1st respondent Corporation. He has constructed a residential house in the said property and is residing in it with his family. The property of the petitioner is demarcated by proper compound walls constructed at the time of construction of his residential house. According to the petitioner, a portion of the compound wall has collapsed during the recent monsoon. The petitioner therefore started the restoration work of the collapsed portion of his compound wall. However, the respondents objected to the construction activity, since it was without obtaining prior permission from them. In view of the above, the petitioner has stopped the construction and has submitted Ext.P4 application for the issue of a Building Permit to restore the collapsed portion of his compound wall. Though the application was submitted in August 2014, the petitioner complains that the same has not been considered till date.

3. Since Ext.P4 is pending consideration of the respondents, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of directing the same W.P.(C) No.26018 of 2014 2 to be considered, without delay.
This writ petition is therefore, disposed of directing the respondents to consider Ext.P4 application for Building Permit submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
