A.M.Shaffique, J. Petitioner, claiming to be the Managing Trustee of an organization, has approached this Court complaining of threat by respondents 3 to 8. According to the petitioner, respondents 3 to 8, who were participating in a course conducted by the Trust, were not following the instructions prescribed by Guruji. Thereafter they were not included in the classes and on account of such non inclusion, they caused interference in the functioning of the institution and threatened the petitioner. Though a complaint was given to the police, no action has been taken in the matter and therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instruction, would submit that after the incident which -2-
W.P.(C). No.17307 of 2013 occurred on 29.05.2013, no further complaints had been received. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that after filing of the writ petition, there had been no such threat as alleged in the writ petition. However, the learned counsel submits that there is possibility of further threat and danger to life.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid submission, we are of the view that as matters stand now, there is no necessity to issue any order for police protection as sought for. However, we only observe that if there is any further threat to commit any offence or any offence being committed, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the police, who shall look into the matter and do the needful.
This writ petition is closed accordingly.
