1. The petitioner applied for regular permit on the route Adakkathode- Vewllonni which route passes through rural and ill served areas of Kannur District. The regular permit is pending consideration and in the meanwhile, the petitioner applied for a temporary permit. It is only appropriate that the temporary permit application, Ext.P2, be considered, especially when the regular permit application is pending consideration.
2. In such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Secretary to consider and issue the temporary permit application, Ext.P2, within a period of one week from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment, if there is no legal impediment.
