JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to disburse the retirement benefits including gratuity, arrears of pension, commutation, EL Surrender, and other benefits with interest.
2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner is appointed as Conductor in the respondent Transport Corporation on 18.11.1986 and thereafter, allowed to retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2012. However, the retirement and terminal benefits are not settled so far. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent on 30.08.2013 and the same is yet to be considered.
3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 30.08.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is also directed to enclose the copy of the representation along with the order passed in this writ petition.
