Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the notification dated 9.1.2004 (F.No.11011/8/2000/P-2-CF of the first respondent published in the gazette of India purporting to be under Section 3A(1) of the National Highways Act 1956 and the consequent notice published by the 2nd respondent on 16.2.2004 in Ref.No.E2/32141/2000 in newspapers name Dinamalar and to quash the same in so far as petitioners land comprising in S.No.311/2A2 of Kumaragiri village is concerned.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has drawn my attention to the award of the respondent passed on 01.12.2006. In view of the interim order passed by this Court in this writ petition, the petitioner's property was deferred while passing award and there is no information with regard to the acquisition of property from the requisition body.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner asserts that the property is not demolished and the widening project was completed without acquiring the petitioner's property.
4. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed as nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
