JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, on 21.07.2009, in W.P.No.6522 of 2009.
2. By the order, dated 21.07.2009, this Court had directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2009, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, after providing reasonable opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
3. Since the respondent could not passed appropriate orders, as directed by this Court within the specified time, a petition for extension of time has been filed before this Court for extension of time to comply with the directions issued by this Court on 21.07.2009.
4. In such circumstances, since no further orders are necessary, the contempt petition stands closed.
