This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, seeking to have O.P. (HMA) No.968 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta transferred to Family Court, Mavelikkara.
2. Suffice to say for estranged relationship between the petitioner and the respondent which ended in litigation while the petitioner filed cases involving the respondent in criminal court, the respondent filed O.P. (HMA) No.968 of 2014 before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta for dissolution of marriage.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner finds it difficult to go to Pathanamthitta to attend the postings of the case and also that she is in financial difficulties. Further, it is stated that there is nobody to accompany her to Pathanamthitta. She, therefore, prays for transfer of the case to Family Court, Mavelikkara.
4. Notice was served on the respondent but he did not enter appearance. Since there is no appearance to contest the relief sought for, this transfer petition is allowed and the O.P.
