The petitioner herein is the complainant in S.T 3735/14 of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Malappuram. He has completed some professional course, and he wants to go abroad. In such a situation he seeks a direction to the court below to dispose of the case at the earliest. Of course, if his grievance is genuine, it will have to be considered by the learned Magistrate. In the particular circumstances, I feel inappropriate to direct a time bound disposal. However, when the petitioner has some grievance that delay in trial of the case will cause loss of employment abroad, earnest efforts will have to be made by the court below to try and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. In the result, this petition is closed with direction to the court below, that earnest efforts shall be made to try and dispose of S.T. No. 3735/14 as expeditiously as possible.
