This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.337 of 2011 on the file of the respondents in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was filed in the year 2011 and the petitioner approached the R.MAHADEVAN, J., jer respondents on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondents to file final report within a stipulated time frame.

4. Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2011 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.337 of 2011 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This petition is disposed of accordingly.
