JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) THURSDAY, THE TWENTY SEVENTH DAY OF NOVEMBER TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.35000 of 2014 BETWEEN Thallepalli Punyavathi AND .. PETITIONER The Government of Telangana, rep. by its Secretary and others ...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent Nos.4 and 5 are not registering the crime on the basis of her complaints, dated 14.03.2014 and 01.09.2014.
3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that on the petitioner’s complaint, dated 14.03.2014, no action was taken as the petitioner herself requested the police to conduct counseling before the registration of the case. However, subsequently, again filed another complaint, dated 01.09.2014, against her husband and family members complaining of mental and physical harassment and demand for additional dowry. Said complaint was registered as Crime No.119/14 on 25.11.2014 and the investigation is taken up.
It is stated that the investigation is at the initial stage and based on the outcome of investigation, appropriate report would be filed under Section 173 Cr.P.C. before the concerned court.
4. It is evident from the above that petitioner’s complaint, dated 25.11.2014, is already taken cognizance by registering a case in crime No.119 of 2014. It is also to be noted that the said crime is registered with respondent No.4 and, as such, respondent No.5 is not concerned with the present case. Since the crime is registered and is under investigation by respondent No.4, in my view, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
